Helping Children With PKU

PKU, short for phenylketonuria, is a condition in which the body struggles to process the amino acid phenylalanine. This amino acid is important for protein synthesis in the body. If left untreated, phenylalanine accumulates in the blood and can have negative effects on health. In the United States, approximately 1 in 10,000 babies are born with PKU each year. While PKU affects individuals from all ethnic backgrounds, it is more common among Whites, American Indians, and Alaska Natives compared to Blacks, Ashkenazi Jews, or Japanese.

Helping Children In Need

At Children R Future, our guiding principle is that every child, irrespective of their circumstances, deserves the chance to flourish. This drives our mission to provide comprehensive support to orphaned or needy children and their families.

Helping Children With EB

Epidermolysis Bullosa, termed EB, encompasses a set of rare skin conditions that result in extreme skin fragility. A seemingly benign touch or minor friction can lead to blisters or tears. This susceptibility is traced back to a genetic mutation inherited from the parents, disrupting crucial skin-strengthening proteins.
